Tensile strength: the tensile strength of CFRP wrap is about 10 times that of steel.


Modulus of elasticity: the tensile modulus of carbon fiber composites is higher than that of steel, but the tensile modulus of the aramid and glass fiber composites is only half and 1/4 of the steel.


Fatigue strength: the fatigue strength of carbon fiber and aramid fiber composite material is higher than that of high-strength wire. Under the action of alternating stress, the fatigue limit is only 30% ~ 40% of the static load strength. Because the fiber and the matrix can relax the crack propagation and the possibility of the redistribution of the internal force of the fiber, the fatigue limit of the composite is higher, which is about 70% to 80% of the static load, and there is a significant sign of deformation before the failure.


Weight: about 1/5 of the steel;
